Using Messenger - Chat Session

A chat session allows you to have an on-line conversation with an individual that is listed on your In/Out board. The chat session is displayed on screen as a continuous conversation and a transcript of it can be saved for future reference. You can carry on more than one chat session at a time and have the chat sessions simultaneously displayed on your computer screen.

Saving a chat session transcript can be a handy tool for storing and retrieving directions, instructions or troubleshooting information.

A chat session is similar to replying to the author of a PortalsXpress e-mail Message but has a different look and feel; the choice is yours.
