Using ContactManager - Search Contacts

The Search Query feature allows you to display only the contacts that meet certain search criteria in the Contact List. For example, you can search by First Name, Last Name, Client ID, Phone Number, Company Name, etc. Therefore, if I know I have a client by the name of John, but cannot recall his last name, I can do a search by First Name and display all of the contacts in ContactManager with the first name of John.

To perform a search query, do the following:

• Select the category by which you want to search from the Query drop-down menu.
• Enter the name or number for which you want to search in the Search For field. If you want to search for all contacts, put an asterisk (*) in this field.
• Click the Search button.
• The contacts meeting the selected criteria will be displayed in the Contacts List
